Groups&nbsp;are located between\nBranches (when activated) and Resources in the Operations Section<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Unit<\/strong>: That organization element having\nfunctional responsibility for a specific incident planning,&nbsp;logistics, or\nfinance\/administration activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Task Force<\/strong>: A group of resources with\ncommon communications and a leader that may be preestablished&nbsp;and sent to\nan incident, or formed at an incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Strike Team<\/strong>: Specified combinations of the same kind and type of resources, with common\u00a0communications and a leader<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Single Resource<\/strong>: An individual piece of equipment and its personnel complement, or an\u00a0established crew or team of individuals with an identified work supervisor that can be used on an\u00a0incident. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New London County Fire Chiefs have developed a comprehensive list of assets and resources, available for deployment locally, within the County, within the State, or out of State if necessary.
